Rent a Buggy in Paphos!
With its population of about 40,000 inhabitants, Paphos (also spelled Pafos) lies in the western part of Cyprus. Most of its inhabitants work in the Tourism, Building & Development and Real Estate Sectors of the Cyprus Eonomy, because there is no real industry in that area.
Paphos consists of two areas: the coastal resort area (Kato Paphos) and the town itself (Pano Paphos) which is slightly further inland, but not visibly divided as such.
The Paphos International Airport -along with the bigger and newer Larnaca International Airport to the East-, offers a great link point to many European cities.
Paphos is very popular with tourists, especially with British, German and Scandinavian tourists. Most recently there is also an ever growing number of overseas visitors from Russia.
Among its attractions are its ancient mosaic floors, its beautiful old harbour and nearby Byzantine Castle, a number of both modern and renovated hotels and restaurants, situated along the coast all the way to Peyia and beyond. Other sights include an archaeological museum, the Tombs of the Kings, St. Paul’s Pillar and the Temple of Aphrodite.
The main shopping lane, which runs parallel to the beach promenade, is the ideal local & touristic marketplace.
Paphos is one of the 3 main tourist spots in Cyprus, along with Protaras and Limassol. The sun shines all day long and there is room for a lot of activities.
Located just outside Paphos Town is the gorgeous Coral Bay Beach Area, a wonderful beach with soft sand and deep blue water, a perfect place for water sports and a wide range of nearby facilities.
The most daring, could do with some real fun and rent a buggy for a whole day, a whole week even to explore the nearby areas and places of interest described further above. Renting a Buggy in Paphos and exploring its historical vicinity, is an awesome driving experience that allows you to unwind and along with areas of natural beauty in this part of the Island, there is nothing more relaxing, whilst having fun at it as well!
